Friday Session starts

The Inclusive Sports session has started at the Stepney Green pitch on Friday 12th February 2016. The 2 hour session was attended by around 15 participants who have a mild physical disability. This project is in partnership with the West Ham United Foundation and London Borough of Tower Hamlets Council.

Triumph for runners up

On Saturday 13th February 2016 on a cold morning in Mile End, Vallance U8 won the THYL cup. They played 4 group games and won 3 and lost 1. In the final they played East End Utd B and the game ended 2-2 and went to penalties. Eventually Vallance won 3-2 on penalties.

Champions again

Once again Vallance FC U12 has won their respected league. They are competing in the Tower Hamlets Youth League U12 division and with 2 games remaining have won the league without a defeat. The team is managed and coached by Shahinur Rahman who is managing a team for the first time and is a qualified FA coach. He said “I cannot take all the credit for this. The team is full of very talented players and I have to thank the previous manager and coach who did a lot of the hard work. We will know put this team into a new league for next season so they are going to prepare for 11 a side football from now on at training. Well done boys….”

Inclusive Fun Football sessions

Inclusive Fun Football sessions Vallance FC in partnership with the West Ham United Foundation are proud to announce an exciting new project for people with a disability aged 8 to adults to participate in fun football coaching and eventually for the more serious ones to get picked to play in the Newly formed Vallance FC U16 and a Senior disability football team. The sessions will take place every Friday 3pm to 5pm at the 3G football pitch at Stepney Green starting on Friday 12th February 2016. Just turn up fill in a consent form and play.

Specialist Sports Event

Vallance will be hosting a Specialist Sports Event in partnership with the Middlesex County Cricket Club on Wednesday March 23rd 2016. This event will have a Cricket competition as well as other Indoor and Outdoor sports activities which are catered for people with a disability. This event is a quarterly programme which is a part of the SEN Health Development Programme.

Well done boys

In 2015 in partnership with the BBC The FA hosted the first FA People’s Cup. Over 30,000 players took part and 1000 teams were formed as a result of the competition. This year the event was held again and Vallance FC U14 took part. The 5 a side tournament was held at the Power League pitches in Shoreditch. Vallance FC U14 finished runners up in their group and made it to the semi final which they won and progressed to the Final. Unfortunately they lost the final but made a lot of friends on the way to the final.
