Specialist Sports Event

On Wednesday 23rd March 2016 at the Attlee Centre there was a day of sports activities for around 60 lucky people. It was the Specialist Sports Event which is held every 3 months by Vallance in partnership with the Core Project. All the participants have a disability and are involved in the SEN Health Development Programme which is run weekly by Vallance. At the event there was Indoor and Outdoor Cricket, Soft Tennis, Hockey and football. All the participants got a certificate for taking part.

Completing the Double

Vallance FC U12 has completed the League and Cup double in the Tower Hamlets Youth League U12 division. On Saturday 20th February 2016 they played at Mile End in a round robin tournament and made it to the final where they met SOUL FC U12. Vallance U12 proved too strong and won 3-1 with man of the match Hamza Ahmed scoring twice.

They win again

On Thursday 18th February 2016 Vallance FC U12, U14 and U16 team took part in the London Youth Football Tournament. This is a 5 a side tournament held at the Power League pitches in Shoreditch. It attracts over 350 boys and is a great way of getting them active during the half term. Vallance U16, U14 B and U12 A did not make it out of the group stages. Vallance U12 B finished 3rd overall and the Vallance U14 A team won there age group. It is the 2nd half term in a row they have won this.

Fun football during holiday

Fun football during holiday There was 2 days of Fun football for boys aged 8-15 years old during the February 2016 half term school holiday. Held at Weavers Field on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th February. It was attended by over 60 boys.

For a Cause

Vallance FC U14 took part in a 7 a side tournament during the February 2016 half term holiday at the Stepney Green astro turf pitch. The tournament was done to get young boys aged 12-14 to come together and play in a competitive and friendly environment. Named Fight for Change it had 16 teams with boys from all over London take part. Vallance FC U14 played 4 group games and won them all but lost 1-0 in the Semi final to the eventual winners Big Kid Foundation.
