Two teams succeed

On Saturday 30th July 2016 it was time for the annual Tower Hamlets Community Cup 2016 football tournament. The 5 a side competition was again held at the Mile End pitches and Vallance FC had 2 teams in the 4 age categories of U8,U10,U12 and U14. Vallance U8 A and Vallance U12 A won their age groups. In total Vallance FC had 64 participants from the 8 teams they entered.

Senior Summer football

Vallance FC has 2 senior teams competing in the BFA UK Summer League 2016. Vallance FC A team are in the 1st division after getting promoted from the 2nd division last year. So far they have played 3 games and are undefeated. The newly formed Vallance B team which has a mixture of Under 16 and 18 players have played 3 games and got 2 points. Both teams are managed by Junel Uddin.

Redbridge disability Sports day

Once again Vallance FC was providing the Football and Cricket event at the Redbridge Disability Sports Day. Held at the Peter May sports centre in Waltham Forest on Wednesday 8th June 2016. There were also many sporting activities available for people with a disability indoor and outdoor. For the football and cricket there were over 70 participants from 11am to 2pm and medals were given out to the winners.

UK Asian Championship 2016

UK Asian Championship 2016 The Vallance FC senior team took part in the UK Asian Championship 2016 on Saturday 14th May at the London Tigers Sports Complex in Southall. Vallance were in Group A with London Tigers, Leicester CSA and Smethwick FC and finished bottom. Manager Junel Uddin said "The team was a mixture of young and senior players. We entered this tournament so they get gain some experience. We were competing with teams from all over England". The final is at the home of Millwall FC on Tuesday 24th May 2016.

Holiday Fun

During the June 2016 half term school holiday Vallance FC held 2 days of Fun Football for boys aged 5-16 at Weavers Field. Both sessions were attended by over 60 boys.

U12 win

U12 win On Thursday 2nd June 2016 Vallance FC U14 and U12 took part in the London Youth 5 a side football festival. Again this was held at the Shoreditch Power League pitches. Vallance FC U14 just missed out going to the semi finals on goal difference. Vallance FC U12 went all the way to the final and won the competition undefeated.

Undefeated Champions

What an achievement from Vallance FC U14. They have won the U14 East London & Essex Junior Football League 2015-16 undefeated all season. They only dropped 4 points from the 22 games they played. They sealed the title on Saturday 28th May 2016 by beating a very good FC Vestry side 2-0. This team beat Vallance FC U14 in the Knockout Cup semi-final recently. Now the team will take a 6 week summer break and return to training in July 2016 to prepare for the U16 season

Day to remember

Day to remember The sun was out and there were smiles everywhere. On Thursday 19th May 2016 Vallance held the annual Disability Sports Day Festival. It was at the Mile End Stadium from 11am to 2pm with all the participants getting a medal. There were 7 specialist schools taking part and 10 disability organisations from all over London. Project manager Junel Uddin said "On behalf of the Vallance CSA we will like to thank everyone on making the 8th Disability Sports Day Festival 2016 one of the best we have done.
