I am delighted to be associated with this charity and become the patron. They do tremendous work in the community with both young and old and are looking to expand their projects. I hope to be apart of it for a long time.
It was pizza and snacks for all the members of the Vallance Disability Social Club. On Monday 18th December it was the Christmas Party and it was attended by over 50 people. The club which is run in partnership with Outward and The Spitalfields Housing Association will now be on a 2 week break and return in the new year.
On Tuesday 12th December 2017 Vallance coaches went to the Chelsea FC Academy to watch the coaching of the academy kids. This was organised by Kevin Coleman of the FA. They got to see how the coaches prepare the boys for training and also had a site visit. At the end there was a Q&A with some of the Chelsea Academy Coaches.
On Wednesday 5th December 2017 it was a celebration of the International Day of Disability. To mark the occasion APASEN (Asian Parents Association Special Needs) held an event at the Mile End Pavilion which included stalls from other organisations and awards to people who have given back to people with a disability during 2017.
