I am delighted to be associated with this charity and become the patron. They do tremendous work in the community with both young and old and are looking to expand their projects. I hope to be apart of it for a long time.
Over the October 2018 School holiday there was a range of activities provided by Vallance for the local boys and girls which included Fun Football coaching at Weavers Field. The youth club was open 3 days a week and also trips to the cinema. On Wednesday 24th October there was a Basic First Aid workshop for girls and boys aged 11-19. This was attended by 16 participants and was delivered by the British Red Cross.
Vallance U9 and U8 have started the games in the Hackney Marshes Saturday Youth Football League (HMSYFL). The U9 play 7 a side at Mabley Green and is managed by Fahim Ali. The U8 also play at Mabley Green in 5 a side and this is the first time in league action for this team. Vallance U8 Vallance U9
StartFragment Vallance will be running a Basic Emergency First Aid training at the SHA Community Centre. Details on poster. The course is for Tower Hamlets residents aged 11-19 (up to 25 for SEN). This is a certified course and participants will need to volunteer 40 hours to the organisation over 12 months once the course is completed. EndFragment
On Saturday 29th September Vallance U15 kicked of their 3rd season in the Hackney Marshes Saturday Youth Football League (HMSYFL). Last year as U14 they finished Runners Up so they will try to go one better this season. They beat AFC Leyton 1-0 on a warm morning and fielded 2 new players.
The coaches at Vallance FC have a full new tracksuit set thanks to the Lonely Orphans Charity. This will be worn at all the coaching sessions held by Vallance FC. The partnership between the two charities is into its 2nd year. Vallance will be providing sporting activities held at events by the Lonely Orphans Charity. Vallance Chairman Shuhel Ahmed said “We are more than delighted to have this partnership with a charity we feel is providing for a great cause”.
