SEN Sports Coaching 2012

Vallance has started the SEN (Special Educational Needs) Sports Coaching programme on Tuesday 24th April 2012 (picture above). Funded by the Tower Hamlets Youth & Connexions Services and PAYP, it takes place at the Mile End Sports centre outdoor pitches.

Held 2 days a week for 8 weeks the sessions will provide multi sports coaching to people with SEN and Learning Difficulty. Activities include all the Paralympics sports as well as the popular sports like football and Cricket. The 8 weeks sessions will lead up to the SEN Sportsday which will take place at the Mile End Stadium on Thursday 31st May 2012.

Project manager Junel Uddin said "We are delighted to have this programme again. This is the 4th year we are running this and the sessions are getting better. We are grateful to the Tower Hamlets Youth Connexions team for this and all the users that take part".
