U11's crowned champions of THYFL Summer 2012

Vallance u11's have been crowned champions of the Tower Hamlets Youth Football Summer League, winning 13 out of the 14 games played and a goal difference of +51. The team continued their fine start to the new campaign beating Newham Rangers 3-1 in the East London and Essex Junior Football League. Vallance came up with an early opener when good build up play allowed Letrel Gardner to fire home. The hosts quickly doubled lead through captain Hisham Sikdar after he unleashed an unstoppable left foot volley. Rangers replied with a goal shortly after half-time, however a makeshift Vallance defence held strong, and sealed the victory when Gardner grabbed his second of the game, chipping the goalkeeper in the process.
