Vallance U16 Special award

On Thursday 27th June at the AGM of the Kent Youth League (KYL), Vallance U16 were awarded the Sportsmanship for the 2012-13 U16 North division. This is given to the team that has the best discipline,Hospitality and performances from the team throughout the season. Vallance were voted by 8 teams in a division of 10. Junel Uddin who manages the team went to collect the trophy (pictured above). He said "I am very proud to collect this award on behalf of the U16 players. They had a very hard season but to get recognised by all the team managers from the league is a great feeling. We got 8 votes from a possible 10 which included us was great. The KYL league chairman mentioned no other team in the other 9 divisions had a clear margin of votes. There are some Ryman and Conference League youth teams in our division which include Dartford,Bromley,Maidstone and Cray Wanderers".
