I am delighted to be associated with this charity and become the patron. They do tremendous work in the community with both young and old and are looking to expand their projects. I hope to be apart of it for a long time.
The Inclusive multi sports sessions for young people with a disability aged 8-16 year old continues into the second year. The Sports Access for All project is funded by the Tower Hamlets Mainstream Grant and the aim is to Increase more opportunities for vulnerable young people to participate in regular sport and healthy lifestyle activities leading to an improvement in their health.
On Wednesday at the Phoenix Specialist school in Bow there is a 2 hour multi sports session for the pupils in the sports hall. On a Friday afternoon there is a Inclusive football session at the Mile End sports pitches.
