Festival for all

On a sunny day at the Mile End stadium, Vallance Community Sports Association held their 9th annual Disability Sports Day Festival 2017 on Wednesday 10th May.

Over 130 participants registered on the day to take part in the multi sports activities which included Football, Cricket, Soft Tennis, Boccia and many others.

A big thank you to all the staff and management of the schools and organisations that attended and took part.

The Festival was about participation but there were some winners in the activities:

Cricket team winners- APASEN (Asian Parents Association for Special Educational Needs)

Cricket team runner’s up- BPCA (Bangladesh Parents Care Association)

Cricket player of the day- Mohibur Rahman from APASEN

Golf player of the day (male) - Bernard Harris

Golf player of the day (female) - Sandra McDonald

Athletics 60 metre sprint (male)-

1st: Ememeniunam

3rd: Wobi Choudhury

Athletics 60 metre sprint (female)-

1st: Muslima Uddin

2nd: Hena Bibi

3rd: Selima Bibi

3rd- BPCA.
