Special League Champions

February 22, 2018

A team of selected players from the Monday SEN club which consisted of Outward and BPCA service users represented Vallance FC Disability team in the South London Special League.

The previous tournament saw the team come runners up and this time they had an impressive tournament.  Winning all their games and scoring 20 goals and not conceding a single goal.

The team consisted of Shahin Ahmed in goal who was player of the tournament. In front of him Ali Akbor and Ryan who scored two amazing goals from defence.  Salam from BPCA was the Kante of the team and in front of him had CJ and Wobi who was tournament top scorer.

The highlight of the tournament was when Wobi scored an amazing goal from a tight angle into the corner of the goal.

The squad also consist of Arif, Imran and Azimol who also played well when they came on.  The squad had a great togetherness and team was full of confidence and they all seem to know what was required to win the tournament.  This was helped by the guidance and encouragement of Manager Abul Bashar and Coaches Junel Uddin and Anam.

In the coming months the team will start a weekly training to attract more players and to increase another team to represent in the forthcoming tournaments.

Vallance FC would like to thank Outward for providing the staff and service users for the tournament.
