Unlucky VFC dominate Tower Hamlets Community Cup 2012
On Saturday 25th August Vallance FC had 7 youth teams (picture above) take part in the Annual Tower Hamlets Community Cup. The 5 a side tournament is run by Osmani Trust and held at the Mile End Sports centre. In the U11 age category Vallance had 2 teams and Vallance Tigers U11 went to the final and lost 9-8 on penalties to Hackney One U11. In the U12 age group Vallance had one team and they made it to the final and lost 3-0 to Hackney One U12. Vallance U16 lost in the final against 3-2 Poplar U16. This game was originally called off due to rain and played on Saturday 22nd September.
