Vallance U18 take on WHU

Vallance FC U18 played a friendly match against West Ham United Community Scheme U18 at Beckton on Monday 28th October 2013. The game was played at a very fast pace on the 3G pitch and both teams played a passing game. In the 1st half there were chances for both teams but it was WestHam who took a 2-0 lead going into half time. After the break Vallance had a few chances to score but the strikers were not sharp in front of goal. 10 minutes from the end West Ham scored again and the score finished 3-0.Vallance manager Junel Uddin said after the game "we are grateful to the management at West Ham United Community Trust for putting on this game and we hope it will be thefirst of many friendlies between us. Next up will be the U16 game and than the U10 and U12. This is a part of the partnership between Vallance and West Ham United Trust which will see all of the coaches from Vallance go and observe coaching sessions at the WHU academy".

Vallance also got tickets to the recent Premier League game at Upton Park to see the game against Mancester City.
