Vallance win at the Emirates
This Bank Holiday Monday Vallance CSA, representing London Youth, won the London United Vitality Cup held at the Emirates Stadium.
At the prestigious venue, the world-famous pitch was divided into four with matches happening between London Youth, Football beyond Borders, Greenhouse Sports, Guy Mascalo, Ambassadors and London Tigers, as well as 2 Arsenal community teams. The London Youth team put on a stellar performance taking on Arsenal Kicks in a nail-biting final, clinching a victory 1- 0. They were awarded the trophy by former World Cup winner and Arsenal star Robert Pires.
Iqbal Hussain, Head of Academy Football at Vallance FC, commented:
‘We were really delighted to get the chance to play at the Emirates and to represent London Youth. Some of the boys have been coming to the club many years, and this was a real highlight for them. Of course it was nice to win, but it was just great for everyone to have the chance to take part – and it was great for the team to get to meet Robert Pires. The games were played in a great spirit, and I am very pleased for the way the teams conducted themselves. Thanks to London Youth, the Evening Standard, Vitality and to everyone else involved’
