On Wednesday 5th December 2017 it was a celebration of the International Day of Disability. To mark the occasion APASEN (Asian Parents Association Special Needs) held an event at the Mile End Pavilion which included stalls from other organisations and awards to people who have given back to people with a disability during 2017.
Vallance nominated their volunteer Aman Uddin for the Unsung Hero Award. He has been helping with the sports coaching and the youth workers at new Vallance Youth club. He has a Learning Disability and has been with Vallance since 2015.
