Eid Party at the Social Club
It was Pizza and watching the World Cup at the Disability Social Club on Monday 25th June. After a month of fasting by some club users it was a day to celebrate Eid together at the club. Over 50 service users attended and got to exchange food and drinks that they brought in.
Thanks to Outward staff who organised and hosted the event. The club has become a big social platform for people with Learning Disability in Tower Hamlets.
The main outcome of the event was to encourage the service users to bring an item of food or drink to the party. This concept has encouraged VSCA to implement a similar approach at their boys and girls club.
