Mayors Cup 2012

The Tower Hamlets Community Mayors Cup 2012 came to an end on Sunday 15th April 2012 at the Mile End stadium. All the finals from the age groups were played and watched by over 250 people. Vallance were the only club to have a team in every age category which was U8,U9,U10,U12,U14,U16,U18 and senior team.

The only team from Vallance to make it to the finals was the U14 team (picture above) who eventually lost 2-1 to Senrab U14. Mohammed Iqbal Hussain who is the Football Development officer at Vallance FC said "Vallance FC were very proud to have a team in every age group. Even though only one side made it to the finals all our young participants enjoyed the tournament.

We will like to congratulate the Tower Hamlets Sports Development Team and the partners which we are a part of and especially the Mayor of Tower Hamlets for this great football event. The boys can't wait for next year".
