Young Mayors Football Tournament 2013

On Tuesday 29th October 2013 at the Mile End Sports centre and Stadium the Tower Hamlets Young Mayor Mahdi Alam along with his deputies held the annual One Movement Event. The day long event also had a 5 a side football tournament which was run by Vallance FC along with Tower Hamlets Youth services. There were 3 age categories which were U13, U15 and 16-19. Each age group had 16-18 teams and around 400 young people took part. The U13 was won by SOUL Youth. Vallance U15 (pictured above with Mahdi Alam) won the U15 group and Cannon FC won the 16-19. The Tower Hamlets Young Mayor and his deputy are members of Vallance.
